About me

I build backend and distributed systems, and cross the stack when the problem calls for it. I like the parts of the job people complain about. Immortal Docker daemons, mostly.

Away from the screen I play in defence, at left back, in the number 3 shirt. Defending is mostly the goal that doesn't happen, which is a fair description of the work I like: nothing to see, because nothing broke.

I love riding a bike, walking in nature, and any adventure that gets me outside.

Golang engineer focused on distributed backends and the infrastructure they run on. I build services that assume failure — and the pipelines, clusters, and monitoring that prove they survive it.
